Kids may not be ready to get back to school yet, but the Harbaughs are making sure they’re prepared when they are.
Ingrid Harbaugh, Head Coach John Harbaugh’s wife, distributed 100 backpacks to youth in need at two Baltimore-area nonprofit organizations.
She made her first stop at St. Vincent’s Villa, a charitable partner of the Ravens and the team’s Ed Block Courage House, with 50 backpacks in tow. St. Vincent’s is a home for children in need who have come from a situation of neglect and abuse.
For the second stop, Ingrid stopped in at Sarah’s House in Ft. Meade, a home for homeless women and children. Ingrid leads a team of Ravens’ coaches’ wives who visit the nonprofit each month to serve lunch to families staying on the property.
On behalf of the Harbaugh family, another 350 backpacks were sent to Ft. Hood, Texas and the Quantico Marine Base in Virginia to support children in military families.
